When the redesigned version of The wonder of 101 it was announced on Kickstarter, it was good news for multiple platforms. Happily, it was interesting that this special Wii U will be available to most players, not every fan was happy with the decision.
In an interview with Nintendo All, just before the official announcement was announced, the game's director Hideki Kamiya made it clear that the original game was "not a successful business venture" and that it was Platinam "superb" in the hope that more people would find out. Obviously, this was not the result.
Well, first we released Wonder 101 in 2013 at Wii U, and for various reasons it wasn't a successful business endeavor for us. Inaba and I just complained that not many players could hear the game.
I understood it was really frustrating for us, you know? We worked hard to make this a great game and we hoped that more players would play it, but that didn't work out. So as a result of our discussions, Nintendo's kindness has made both the ports and the campaign possible.
Based on Kamiya's words, it's easy to understand why PlatinGames was so eager to give the game a high-quality display on a platform like Kickstarter and move it to as many platforms as possible.
It pays, too. In the first week, the campaign raised more than $ 1 million in 12 hours and has since achieved many goals. How do you feel about this Wii U exclusive being given a second chance? Let us know.
