Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order: More rumors about the successor

Fallen, Jedi, Order, Rumors, Star, Successor, Wars

It’s no secret that Respawn Entertainment is working on a sequel to the highly successful Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Now there are new rumors about the name and date of the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has sold well over 12 million copies, so a sequel is only logical. This was also confirmed by EA in January, along with two other Star Wars projects in which Respawn Entertainment is involved. An official announcement of the game is still pending.

Bits of information are leaking out now and again, especially from the usually well-informed journalist Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat. He had already hinted that the successor would no longer appear for the old generation of consoles, but only for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Among other things, according to Grubb, this is justified by the fact that the game should not be released until 2023, contrary to previous rumors that spoke of the end of 2022.

Grubb also wants to know the name of the new game. After a bit of guessing on his Grubbsnax show chat, he confirmed, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor… you got it. You nailed it. Well done.”

So, in a nutshell: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released in 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, we will only find out whether this is true when EA officially discontinues the title.
