While many publishers are just taking stock of sales, Sega is no exception. When presenting the results of the last financial year, which ended at the end of March, Sega also took the opportunity to talk about the future. As results improve, the publisher anticipates an even more lucrative year.
Many games will come from Sega
While recent history is populated by remasters, particularly on the side of Sound, As it appears Sega won’t stop here. Last year, the publisher sold more than four million games that qualify as remastered or remake, such as: Sonic Colors Ultimate, Super Monkey Ball Banana mania or the very popular ones Lost Judgment.
Sega has announced several titles for the coming months remastered/remade are planned, starting with the compilation Sonic origins, which has crystallized many criticisms against it. Notably because of its multi-edition purchasing model and the removal of original games from stores.
