The Xbox One interface has been renewing over the years since the console was launched. The biggest complaint of the users of that console was almost always destined to it, since it was something slow, not very intuitive and imitated -in the beginning- the style of Windows 8 that so little triumphed among the masses. Luckily, the interface was evolving and has been increasing both its speed and appearance, ending in a product of the most intuitive and that has corrected the startup errors. Of course, still far from the great interfaces of Xbox 360.
On Xbox they are aware of the problem they had with the launching One interface, so the intention is to start off on a good footing, so a good, fast and robust design should be the goal that Phil Spencer's hope to achieve with Xbox Series X. Phil Spencer has spoken about the console interface in an interview that collects GamingBolt and that gives us a few details. In the same interview, he has also had words for the backward compatibility of Xbox Series X.
"It is obviously much faster than Xbox One. And sometimes, when things go a little faster, there are some user interface things that you have to be aware of.", referring to that speed is not everything and obviously design is also important. If Microsoft manages to dominate both fields, we are sure that we will have before us a great interface.
