Shikanoin Heizou revealed as the next Genshin Impact character

It seems like years have passed since the last teaser for Genshin Impact’s future, and we’re seeing a new character coming to the game for the first time via the game’s official Twitter account. Problematic character: Deer House Heizang.

Another Lightning character joining the cast, they are detective characters working on the Dragon Council. We haven’t heard anything about them in the game so far, making them a completely original addition to the cast.

On its own, this is exciting news – everyone loves seeing a new character! However, this new discovery should also spark some hope that the next update for Genshin Impact is just around the corner. We’ll have to keep an eye on the official channel to find out when the live stream will be live in the coming days.

While we don’t have a ton of info on Shikanoin Heizou’s gameplay (a typical situation for these artistic teasers), there are some leaks that suggest what they’re capable of. Obviously, feel free to skip the next paragraph if you don’t want spoilers. Also, since these are leaks, take them with a grain of salt.

According to a well-known leaker Lumi on Twitter, Deer House Kurozang will become the crew’s first male catalyst user. It’s the opposite of the cool Jitte (forked sword) we see around him, but it’s most likely a decoration for the character. After all, characters like Fae Miko have fans for their models and animations, but they’re also catalyst users.
