Umurangi Generation is a first-person photography game set in the retro future. In Tauranga, Aotearoa, against the backdrop of a looming crisis, great cities are walled in as the United Nations deploy the military and towering mechas to defend against an alien invasion. From fighter jets blazing overhead, the sound of constant gunfire and wounded soldiers, to the in-game billboards, everything you see provides more context to the daily lives of the people of Tauranga.
