Gaming showcases: June will be exciting – there is a lot ahead

Ahead, exciting, gaming, June, lot, Showcases

Even if the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo is completely canceled this year, we can expect a lot of new information and announcements in June. A small overview of the events and streams.

The absence of E3 in Los Angeles doesn’t stop publishers and developers from using June as a traditional month for new announcements and updates on upcoming games. This year, too, a whole bundle of events will replace the once great games fair.

Summer Game Fest – June 9th, 8pm

Perhaps the most exciting event is the Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley as always. The event has meanwhile blossomed extremely and attracts numerous celebrities, publishers and developers. The event at the IMAX in Los Angeles will of course also be streamed and should have a few surprises in store.

Geeked Week – June 10, 7 p.m.

Netflix’s five-day Geeked Week is more interesting for series lovers, but video gamers could also get their money’s worth. On the one hand, a day is reserved for Netflix games, on the other hand, the series adaptations Resident Evil and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are presented.

Guerrilla Collective – June 11, 5 p.m
Wholesome Games Direct – 11. Juni, 18:30 Uhr

Indies fans shouldn’t miss The Guerrilla Collective event, which features dozens of new indie titles. At the same time, another indie event called Wholesome Games Direct will take place from 6:30 p.m.

Future Games Show – June 11, 9 p.m.

The annual event of the colleagues from GamesRadar will also take place again. Around 40 game presentations are expected, although AAA titles are not necessarily to be expected here.

Xbox & Bethesda Showcase – June 12, 7 p.m.

It should be really exciting at Bethesda and Xbox. Not only that one or the other new announcement can be expected, but also new information about top titles such as Starfield, Avowed, Redfall and others can be expected. Most importantly, it’s going to be exciting to see what the future of Xbox gaming looks like, as the portfolio has become disappointingly thin for the next few months following the postponement of Starfield and Redfall.

PC Gaming Show – June 12, 9 p.m

The day isn’t over with the Xbox Showcase, because that’s followed by the PC Gaming Show again, which could also bring a chunk of new announcements. Also interesting for console players, because quite a few titles should not only be exclusive for PC.
