ASUS Republic of Gamers (simply ROG) today announced its next gaming smartphone ROG Phone 6, powered by a very powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen. The press release is not stingy with superlatives about the power of the ASUS phone:
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 boosts gameplay and unlocks the full suite of Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. It also offers an upgraded Qualcomm Adreno GPU that increases GPU speed by 50% and GPU power efficiency by up to 50%.
ASUS promises 15% more performance on the processor side
If on the GPU side we are entitled to 50% more performance compared to version 5, the new processor is able to provide 15% more speed and with it also improve the phone’s battery. ASUS also announces the ability to play 70 minutes longer and listen to music for 14 hours longer. Which is still pretty gigantic on one side or the other.
