Anyone who thought that after the big DLC The Signs of Ragnarök was all over for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was wrong. Ubisoft continues to work on the open world game and is releasing the next major patch today.
Im Title Update 1.5.2 At its core is a major innovation, with which you can now completely change your equipment in no time at all. How exactly the loadout feature works and how big the update is, we’ll tell you in the next few lines.
By the way: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla could continue to play an important role in the future. According to rumours, an offshoot is planned around a Valhalla character:
Assassin’s Creed
Mysterious Valhalla character to get own game
What’s in Title Update 1.5.2?
The most important new feature of 1.5.2 for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is a building for your own settlement: The Armory (armory building) can be built from settlement level 3 and using captured cargo from the river raids.
Once the chamber is up, you can view your rarest and most important items inside and unlock the new loadouts. At the beginning you only have two loadout slots available, you unlock the remaining three as soon as you improve the armory.
Loadouts: You can then easily adjust the slots via the inventory. So you can put together special combinations for stealth missions or for open close combat. Once a loadout is saved, you can switch directly through the inventory during gameplay, rather than having to constantly go back to the armory.
Of course, the title update also applies to the DLC The Characters of Ragnarok, with which Ubisoft brought another open world to Valhalla. Dimi and Steffi talk about how long this constant expansion can continue to function in the video:

AC Valhalla: Ragnarok – New open world. but how much longer can Ubisoft go on like this?
What else does 1.5.2 bring? In addition to many bug fixes that range from quests and gameplay to technology, there are also new rewards for river raids. According to the patch notes, you can expect new weapons and customization options for Eivor.
How big is Title Update 1.5.2?
The download for the new title update is not as big as some other patches in the past, but it’s still not too small – at least on most platforms:
- PC: about 7GB
- PlayStation 4: about 1.4GB
- PlayStation 5: about 1.8GB
- Xbox One: about 7.8GB
- Xbox Series X/S: about 7.8GB
