Apparently this information comes from Vanguard files found by data miners related to the Season 3 reload update (thanks CharlieIntel)

Three versions of the game were also revealed in the data mining. There are standard editions and cross-gen bundles, each with games, early access public betas, and other items to be announced.

The Vault Edition will also be available with early access to the public beta, Battle Pass Season 1 with 50 tier skips, Red Team Operator Pack with Operators Ghost, Farah, Price and Soap, 10 hours of 2x XP And 10 hours of 2x weapon experience, the FJX Cinder arsenal and the Ghost Legacy Pack which is said to contain 12 operator skins and 10 weapon blueprints.

The leak also confirmed that the game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Of course, Activision hasn’t announced or confirmed any of the information contained in the leak, so keep that in mind before getting too excited.

Yesterday, Activision and Infinity Ward announced an October 28 release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In addition to this, artwork showing the operator was released.

The date comes on the heels of nearly a year of controversy at Activision Blizzard. Back in July 2021, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing filed a lawsuit over reports of discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying. Another lawsuit was brought by the family of a deceased employee, and another by an investor.

The SEC is also investigating the company’s response to workplace issues. It also faces a lawsuit from a current employee alleging discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation.

Recently, Raven Software’s QA department voted to recognize the Union of Game Workers as a union, despite the company’s attempts to block unionization. The group announced its union plan back in January.
