Capcom announced earlier this year that in 2022 both Resident Evil 7 like the remakes of Resident Evil 2 there 3 in the new generation. New versions will have ray tracing support, higher frame rate and 3D audio. The company hasn’t specified a specific date for any of the titles, though it looks like very little is missing, at least as far as Resident Evil 3 respect.
According to @BSAAEurope posted on his account Twitter, When you start the game on your PS5, an option to update it appears to the new generation. Sure, option did not work but the fact that it is already beginning to appear indicates that the update is almost ready. Capcom has also confirmed that save games will be transferable to next-gen versions so we won’t have to worry about losing our games.
