Black Desert gets a lot of new content for PC and console.
South Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert Online (PC) is getting a new private monster zone called Marni’s Secret Chamber, as well as major balancing improvements. Console players can now play the newest class, Drakania, and soon they can also participate in the Tulava Cup.
Marni’s Secret Chamber: Marni’s secret chamber allows each player to hunt monsters in a private session for one hour per day without being disturbed by other players. The Private Monster Zone is available in hunting grounds often visited by players, such as Elvia, the Sycraia underwater ruins, or the Temple of Gyfin Rhasia. Other hunting grounds will also receive this update in the future.
Upon entering Marni’s secret chamber, players will spawn in the monster zone of their choice – identical to the original, with the same scenery, monsters, and loot. However, players don’t have to worry about PvP threats while hunting, which guarantees them a successful grind.
Hunting Ground Changes and Item Drop Adjustments: Hunting Grounds now receive unique attributes. For example, some monster zones will become more efficient when it comes to farming combat and skill experience points, while others will be particularly good for crafting gear. This change allows players to strategically choose their hunting grounds to tailor the hunt to their needs.
The loot has also been adjusted in several hunting grounds. Improved the drop rate and increased the drop buff rate limit from 300% to 400%. That black desertteam continues to work on improving the PvE experience and making it more varied.
