We always say it: the fewer notifications, the better. In some applications it’s easy for us, but there are those who take advantage of its usefulness to “blackmail” us if we don’t bother to change your settings. This is the case of Amazon, of which we always want to know if an order will arrive soon and therefore we do not want to deactivate its notifications.
This tracking service for our orders is great, but it’s mixed in with notification notifications that we haven’t researched or requested. Who hasn’t received that classic “we think you might be interested in buying a new tablet”? Let’s see how to disable these recommendations
Order information yes, recommendations no
Open the Amazon application on the iPhone and click on the three-line button that you have at the bottom right of the interface:
In the section that opens, scroll down and go to “Notifications”:
In the list of options that appears, deactivate the ‘Recommendations for you’ option:
This way, you’ll continue to receive notifications of orders you make on Amazon, but you’ll no longer be interrupted by product recommendations popping up for no reason. one less hassle.
