Well, Google now clears your doubts with an extension of the data that appears in every file in the Android store: according to your list of devices, you will see if the application should go on your phone before installing it.

New section in tab descriptions clarifies before downloading an app
As discovered in 9to5Google, and we have in our own Google Play Store of several mobiles, the official Android store has published the section “Support for active devices“. It details the operation, the version of the application and the minimum version required for its installation.
Google relies on the list of devices connected to the user’s account to check whether or not the applications will work on its mobiles and tablets. Although yes, not a 100% guarantee because there can always be elements that prevent the proper functioning of an application. To see this new section of Google Play you need an updated store (it appears to us in version 30.6.16-21) and open the description of any app, then scroll down the text.
Although this is not a complete guarantee that the app will work, it does. it is a great advantage that Google advances its estimated behavior. This saves time and can also save money: check this section before downloading software from the Play Store.
