It would smell good for the announcement of a release date for God of War Ragnarok. PS Plus games for June 2022 would have been announced in advance and Sony would use the same strategy as The Last of Us 2.
PS Plus may change starting June 22nd, but some habits are hard to break. Including the leaks of free games for subscribers revealed ahead of time.
June 2022 PS Plus games already revealed?
We don’t change our good old habits. A few days before their official announcement, the PS Plus games for June 2022 are revealed early. And it’s not deal abs who spilled the beans but the english side Areajugones having already given this type of information a number of times in advance. And for the first European month with PS Plus Premium and new formulas, Sony should spoil fans of fighting games in particular. According to media reports from 01.01is
- God of War
- Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
- Nickelodeon All Star Brawl
The information should be taken with caution, however, as this entire range of products will be included in the PS Plus Premium offer right from launch. Either the information is wrong, or Sony will focus the free PS Plus games primarily on those who want to stick with the Essential offering. If the rumor is indeed true, it could mean that the communication campaign surrounding God of War Ragnarok could begin, perhaps with a view to a September release, as some clues suggest. Anyway, the strategy was similar to the release of The Last of Us 2, where the remaster was offered when its release date was announced. Maybe we’ll get some news at State of Play this week.
