Geoff Keighley is thinking big for this year. Ten days before the celebrations begin, the host revealed the list of companies that will have an announcement during the show. The 2022 edition will therefore return regulars of the event such as Activision, 2K, Xbox or Digital Extremes, as well as new participants such as Frost Giant Studios or Level Infinite, Tencent’s publishing label.
If the majority of the celebrations will take place between June 9th and 12th, there is talk of announcements in the coming week. In fact, we can clearly see that the studios and publishers are all positioning themselves more or less in the same media time window. Sony set a 30-minute deadline for third-party game announcements on Thursday. The Summer Game Fest takes place the following weekend, followed by the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase on June 12th. As I am sure you have understood, the next two weeks promise to be rich in novelties and news!
