From Disney: Rebooting the Family follows families who are so busy with their individual lives, whether it’s from a busy job, back to school, after-school activities, social media, sports, or running a business, that they’ve lost touch with one another. In each episode, a family takes a full week off their busy schedules to embark on a journey to reconnect and rebuild their family bonds. Leaving their phones, laptops and all other gadgets behind, they have to find their way to their week-long shelters the “old-fashioned way”, with just a paper map in hand. Upon arrival, they are greeted by their Family Reboot guide, who welcomes them on their journey and leads them to their first activity, where they find the key to their house for the week. Once the families are inside and have chosen the rooms they need to share, the guide talks to the parents about how they can get the most benefit from the week ahead, whether it’s finding ways, with their kids, with each other or to get in touch with both. The next few days are more fun and games interspersed with meaningful conversations that families usually didn’t have time for. All organized by the guide, the week-long trip focuses on collaboration, communication and most importantly fun, reminding the family to put aside their distractions and busy schedules to get back together and make new memories. The families leave the journey completely “rebooted” – more connected, happier and ready to resume their busy lives at home, but with a whole new perspective.

rise
From Disney: The public has never seen a story quite like that of Antetokounmpos. After emigrating from Nigeria to Greece, Charles and Vera Antetokounmpo (Dayo Okeniyi and Yetide Badaki respectively) fought to survive and for their five children while facing daily threats of deportation. With their eldest son still with relatives in Nigeria, the couple were keen to obtain Greek citizenship, but were undermined by a system that blocked them at every turn. When they weren’t selling goods to tourists on the streets of Athens with the rest of the family, the brothers – Giannis (Uche Agada) and Thanasis (Ral Agada) – played basketball with a local youth team. As latecomers, they discovered their great skills on the basketball court and worked hard to become world-class athletes alongside their brother Kostas (Jaden Osimuwa). With the help of an agent, Giannis entered the 2013 NBA draft in a long-distance perspective that would change not just his life but the lives of his entire family. And last season, Giannis and Thanasis helped bring the Milwaukee Bucks their first championship ring in 50 years while Kostas played for last season’s champions, the Los Angeles Lakers.
