Player recreates ship’s cockpit as an extremely expensive gaming room

Many a fan spares no expense or effort to commemorate their own hobby. A Thai gamer dug deep into his wallet and created a gaming room entirely modeled on the cockpit of a Star Citizen ship.

In a video presented YouTuber Banking its build, which, in addition to a powerful PC and numerous TV sets, even boasts electric sliding doors. All framed by components that give the whole thing an amazingly authentic cockpit look.

Pretty high price

YouTuber Bankii estimates the total cost of the cockpit room at 100 million satang, which is equivalent to one million baht and around 27,000 dollars. But he also got a lot for the proud sum.

Bankii modeled his gaming room after the cockpit of his favorite Star Citizen ship, the Crusader Hercules. Among other things, the following elements were installed in order to be able to gamble as smoothly (and stylishly) as possible in the visual highlight:

• A complete interior design
• A cockpit with three 65” TVs and a touch screen control
• A gaming PC with Geforce RTX 3090
• A HOTAS system with extra control switches
• Lots of RGB lighting
• A small kitchen with an electric stove
• Automatic sliding doors in the style of a spaceship

The result is impressive. Although the trained eye can see differences to the original, the room is apparently also intended to meet pragmatic requirements in the real world. And what Star Citizen player wouldn’t want to make a quick sandwich in Quantum Travel mode without their own spaceship having to leave.
