Another curious game idea from Japan comes to us in Europe. In Eternights, humans turned into monsters, triggering the apocalypse. However, you not only have to fight your way through hordes of strange creatures, but also find the love of your life.
Eternights offers a curious mix. You don’t just shred through monsters in the usual action-style à la Devil May Cry. There are also passages that are reminiscent of dating simulations like Hatoful Boyfriend. Five different female characters are waiting to get to know you better. It’s necessary, too, because the better you know them, the more skills you’ll unlock for battle. This makes it easier to fight your way through the different dungeons and dust off all kinds of items. Graphically, Eternights presents itself in the classic anime style.
There is no specific release date for the peculiar genre mix. So far it has only been said that Eternights will be released in spring 2023 for PC, Playstation 4 and PS5.
