Nioh 2 wins gold medal before launch in March

As highlighted by Gemastsu, Nioh 2 developer Team Ninja entered the game's official Twitter account to announce this milestone.

Yesterday, we saw that the original Nioh has sold 3 million copies since its release in February 2017. Although initially sold exclusively as a PlayStation, Nioh was also later released on PC via Steam.

The original game was also recently offered as part of PlayStation Plus's monthly gaming service.
