Pokémon Home was introduced at the Nintendo eShop yesterday evening, surprising players with a new character named Grand Oak. He joins the likes of Professor Oak and his cousin Samson Oak from the Sun and Moon as a final addition.
In Japan, the character's name is Dai Ookido (ダ イ オ ー キ ド), which means "great" or "great" Ookido. In Japan, Professor Oak's last name is Ookido.
