After much anticipation, Pokémon Home come out on Tuesday – but you won't know from checking your phone. For whatever reason, the last available Pokémon center doesn't appear when you search it in the mobile app store.
For those who may not know, Pokémon Home is Nintendo's Pokémon cloud storage service. The basic version is free too allows you to save up to 30 Pokémon. The price range, which will run you $ 3 a month or $ 16 a year, can save 6,000 Pokémon and allow you to use features like importing Pokémon from Pokémon Bank. You can sign in Pokémon Home from Switch or your mobile device to easily manage your Pokémon on the fly.
In other words, think Pokémon Home such as the IRL PC Box (a term for the last Pokémon game, as designed by the Floppy-haunt Bill from Gen 1). Which Pokémon collector in their right mind would not want that?
Earlier today, I downloaded Pokémon Home on my switch with no problem. But when I went to fetch it from my mobile device, Samsung Galaxy 7 (who wouldn't judge me for refusing to upgrade my phone), I couldn't find the app in the Google Play Store. No matter what I wanted – "Pokemon Home," "Pokemon Home," "Pokémon HOME," "Pokémon Home App," "Pokémon App," "Pokemon App," "Home Monster , "" pokemon, "" pokémon, "" Pokemon, "" Pokémon, "" Pikachu's cold storage solutions "- Pokémon Home the app did not run. Surprisingly, to say the least, that this long-awaited mobile service is not readily available on mobile devices. But if you're worried you may have to wait longer than you plan to build your dream team, do not-can Pokémon Home on your mobile device as expected. It simply takes more action.
First, open the browser and head to it and Pokémon Home landing page. From there, you should see three "now available" buttons: one in the Apple App Store, Google Store, and Nintendo eShop. (Caveat: We've gone through this process for the Play Store version and the Apple App Store on the iPhone 7. Your experience may vary depending on your device.) Opening the link on your phone will take you to the apps page in your app's app store.
From there, download the app to your favorite device.
After a few minutes, too voila! Your new bright Pokémon app should be installed on your phone.
