Even if Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is already safe, the old Warzone will continue and apparently also get a new map that has now been teased.
Call of Duty: Warzone fans have once again received a glimpse into the future of the game, which is set to continue despite the announced successor. And apparently the “old” Warzone will continue to get new content.
The developers now presented the new map via Twitter, which will be introduced in the course of Season 4 and will then probably replace Rebirth Island. The new map is called Fortune’s Keep and is again located on an island.
The map is kept relatively small with short distances between the points of interest, which probably speaks for a high game speed. Some landmarks can already be seen on the map, such as a winery, a lighthouse, a cemetery, a town and a kind of fortress.
It will be interesting to see what changes and innovations Fortune’s Keep will bring. The developers may have had some thoughts after the number of players dropped significantly after the release of Rebirth Island.
