A few months ago we told you the result of the trial against Gary Bowser by Nintendo for large damages related to piracy. Bowser was sentenced to 40 months in prison in the United Statesand now, another voice complicit in this criminal (being the head of the operation in fact) has taken the opportunity to raise his voice… but not precisely to show support.
Max Louarn
I wasn’t going to end up as an engineer earning $5,000 a month when I realized, at 18, that hacking was not only more fun, but there were ways to make a lot of money doing it. Stealing from companies that make billions, what do I care?
[Nintendo] hates me. Surely in Tokyo they have hung my photo in an office. We have always been in favor of freedom, that is our mentality: do what we want with machines and that everyone has access to them.
Louarn has a criminal history behind him. In the 1990s, he fled to Europe after being arrested for piracy, only to be captured at a fake party organized in the United States to capture him. He was in prison for more than five years. He now has the turn of Gary Bowser, one of the companions that he supposedly had under his command. And remorse, as you can see, is completely absent
What do you think of this whole story? Without a doubt, in the world there must be everything, but it is unfortunate that there are people who have the mentality of a thief. Be that as it may, do not hesitate to leave your opinion in the comments.
