Here are ten ARK 2 details you may have missed!
During countless announcements, you may not have caught the ARK 2 announcement with a new trailer. Since there has been a lot of game news over the past few days, and even on a Sunday of all days, there are ten details today on the holiday that you may have missed.
1) ARK: Survival Evolved is now 100% off and permanently free on Steam! Players must claim the game by June 19 at 10:00 AM PDT. This has led to a new record on Steam.

2) The new official ARK community map, the cold Nordic region of Fjordur, is available for free download on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Stadia. Check out the Fjordur map trailer here:
3) ARK: The Animated Series currently has fourteen 30-minute episodes in post-production, with Monica Belucci (The Matrix Reloaded) and Dee Bradley Baker (Star Wars: The Bad Batch) joining the illustrious cast that also includes Gerard Butler, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel and many more.

4) The ARK Nintendo Switch Ultimate Survivor Edition includes new voiceovers by David Tennant and Madeleine Madden. Madden will also act as the robot guide HLN-A in the “Young Explorers Mode” exclusive to the Switch version of ARK.
5) ARK 2 is played in third-person perspective and features heavily skill-based, Souls-like action – an innovative direction rarely seen in a PVP-based survival game.
6) The next-gen survival experience, ARK 2, is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, enabling mods for Xbox Series X|S consoles, PC, and Xbox GamePass. ARK 2 will feature fully stackable user-made mods for the Xbox version of the game, powered by mod.io. Players creating mods for the PC version can upload their creations to the cloud to make them available to all Xbox console players!

8) ARK 2 will be available in Xbox and PC Game Pass in 2023.
9) ARK 2 offers a whole host of new features, including new advanced locomotion mechanics such as climbing, free climbing, parkour, sliding and swinging, dynamic world events (independent real-time natural and unnatural events), skill-based “Souls”-like combat, a totally new alien environment, component-based item crafting, and hostile PVE hunters and attackers intent on driving human invaders out of their world.
