Crisis Core Reunion was announced with great fanfare during the Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Livestream and delighted many fans. A video of FF7 Crisis Core Remake vs PSP
The surprise was spoiled a few hours before the event, but FF7 Crisis Core Remake is actually a reality. While Square Enix remains vague on the nature of this port, which will be available on all platforms this winter, the work done by the teams is significant. Remember that the original game was released on PSP in 2007. And for this transition to current generations, the developers obviously didn’t do things by halves.
The proof of that is with this video comparison of Crisis Core Remake vs PSP and the few pictures below. You can see it very clearly that financial assets Characters take more of those from FF7 Remake than just improved smoothing. The work certainly seems more substantial than FF Type-0 back then. Combat will also be closer to Cloud’s new adventures coming in a trilogy, with greater freedom of movement and an overhauled HUD.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion will also feature enhanced 3D models, full voice acting, and new soundtrack arrangements. See you this winter on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One to rediscover Zack’s adventures.
