We bring more interesting statements from Reggie Fils-Aime. Remember that this is the former president of Nintendo of America, who has now confirmed news.

Specifically, on this occasion we have been able to find out Reggie’s opinion on the arrival of more classic games: he does not see a new mini console clearly but the arrival of GameCube and Wii titles on Switch. This is what he has shared with CNET:

To return to [una consola mini]? Will there be other physical boxes with legacy content? I do not think. If I was back at Nintendo for a day, I’d be much more focused on: How does the company take advantage of all of its great content, offering it to the consumer through that Nintendo online experience? What they’re doing… they’re putting out some N64 content, they’re working with other platform owners to get some of that legacy content out.

But that’s where the opportunity lies. Nintendo still has more N64 content to take advantage of. They have GameCube content to tap into, they have Wii content. I see this future of content delivered digitally to you, the consumer, as this burgeoning opportunity that I would like to continue to embrace.
