Apple has hired Warner Music's chief executive to work on improving operations Apple Music. This is Jeff Bronikowski, and he has been appointed Director-General of World War II.
Jeff shared details about the start of his new career at Apple through LinkedIn, stating that he will work with the Apple Music team.

Apple Music continues to grow at a slow pace
Prior to working for Apple Music, Jeff Bronikowski served as vice president Warner Music Group. His job has been to focus on global business development, new technologies and new technologies, according to his LinkedIn profile. Reuters sources point out that he previously worked for The Echo Nest, a company acquired by Spotify, and IAC and Tribeca Shortlist.
Apple Music is facing some tough competition from Spotify, which continues to expand its podcast streaming services and original content. Currently, Apple Music is passing by 60 million unpaid users, and on the other hand Spotify has over 125 million subscribers.

Apple has not shared any official data on the growth of its music platform since last June 2019, so it is likely that Apple Music has already managed to increase its subscriber base to 70 million paid users. Apple Music is directed by Peter Stern, who also owns Eddy Cue, who manages all of Apple's operations.
