The development studio Treasure, which made a name for itself at the beginning of the millennium with games such as Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun and Wario World, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The studio reported on this Twitter to speak and announced that they are currently working on a game for which there is a high demand. We are working hard to unveil it soon.
It is not known whether the game will be a completely new IP or a remake of one of Treasure’s classics. Since the studio currently consists of only ten employees and is supposed to work mainly on reissues of its classic titles, the latter seems likely.
The most recent release of Treasure is the 2014 release for the Nintendo 3DS Guest Crusher God and is therefore already eight years ago.
