IGN Summer of Gaming is in full swing. A sweet moment in an atypical summer without E3 which leaves us with great announcements and revelations. And after overcoming the hangover of two weeks ago, where the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase was the star of the show, the announcements don’t stop. And tomorrow we will have a new revelation.
In this case, it will be a Sega project that IGN will have the honor of presenting. Something that has already been announced with great fanfare on Twitter.
Sega will surprise us again tomorrow with a new title
In a social media post, IGN confirmed that tomorrow will have a “world premiere” from Sega. And accompanying that tweet was a little teaser, complete with a black screen and animal sounds that barely last a few seconds. Many users linked these sounds to the sounds made by dolphins and were quick to associate the ad with the return of Ecco the Dolphin. Something that would not be unreasonable, especially if we take into account the fact that Sega has recently reintroduced games from its most classic catalog, such as Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.

Either way, and with the imminent release of Sonic Frontiers, it seems unlikely to be another Blue Hedgehog-related project. For now we can only speculate, until tomorrow at 10am PT we are out of doubt with the official announcement.
