We know very well that Activision’s series of shooting games does not reject a good ‘crossover’ with well-known characters from pop culture, especially if they were popular in the 80s. In the past we have seen appearances by icons of eighties cinema such as Rambo and John McClaine. Now, it is the T-800 and T-1000 Terminators that are stalking the maps of Call of Duty: Warzone y Vanguard.
Skynet’s killer robots are no strangers to crossovers with other video games. In recent years we have seen them walk around Fortnite, Ghost Recon Breakpoint y Mortal Kombat 11. His most recent film appearance was in the excellent Hidden destination in 2019.
Hints that this collaboration is on the way appeared on the games’ official Twitter account.
The published images show a silver metal bar in the middle of gold bars. In the first the text is hard to read, but in the second it clearly says ‘Skynet mimetic polyalloy’. The mimetic polyalloy it is the material with which Skynet created the most dangerous line of Terminators, including the T-1000 capable of changing shape.

At the moment we know that we can look like the T-800 and the T-1000 thanks to a batch of operators with the appearance of each of these Terminators.
The look of the T-100 will copy the police ‘look’ he wears in the movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day, in which he was played by Robert Patrick. We don’t know if the T-800 will look like Arnold Schwarzenegger or if it will have his iconic robot skeleton look.
We also don’t know if there will be a special event on the maps related to this franchise, as happened with collaboration with Godzilla and Kong.
