With the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the Chinese manufacturer will soon be launching its latest high-end smartphone. And Xiaomi promises big things: The camera quality of the cell phone should surpass all previous Xiaomi smartphones, as the company reports.
Xiaomi has entered into a cooperation with the camera manufacturer Leica for this purpose. The Xiaomi Ultra 12 has a 50 megapixel main camera as well as a 48 MP wide-angle camera and a 48 MP periscope camera. For comparison: Apple’s current iPhone 13 has a main camera with 12 MP.
In addition, the Ultra 12 has optical image stabilization (OPS), Leica algorithms and various filters for optical photo adjustments. Qualcomm’s latest top processor “Snapdragon 8+ Gen1” should bring the necessary performance. The device does not yet have a release date, but there are rumors about the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
