The success of Resident Evil 2 Remake it's undeniable. In the last quarter of the year, the Capcom video game available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC managed to sell about 840,000 copies, which records a total of 5.8 million units sold throughout the year since it was released on January 25, 2019. It is the fifth best-selling videogame in the horror saga, whose fifth installment remains unbeatable after selling 11.3 million copies, followed by the sixth (9.2 million), the fourth (7.5 million) and the seventh (7 million).
Among the rest of the sales data, Capcom has revealed that Monster Hunter World grazes the 15 million copies sold after harvesting 800,000 more in the last quarter of 2019. Likewise, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne totals 3.4 million. Among other games, Devil May Cry 5 reaches 3.1 million, Street Fighter V for PS4 and PC has sold 4.1 million and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition 1.4 million.
One of Capcom's next bets is Resident Evil 3 Remake, which is released on April 3 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
