To get an explanation for the reason for this difference, Created Tech decided to evaluate the internal components of the computer.
To do this, they removed the lower case of the new MacBook Pro M2 with 256 GB and found that has a single 256 GB NAND chip, so it doesn’t quite hit the same SSD speeds as the previous generation 13-inch MacBook Pro.
