Everything is becoming more expensive: electricity, gasoline… which also makes it increasingly difficult to choose the platforms on which to subscribe. Chances are, you should choose one or two platforms at most in order to save a little money on subscriptions per month.
This is where Disney arrives by offering a new subscription that promises to be cheaper. Of course, there will be two rather important buts: you will have to see advertisements and it will not be available in Europe, at least for the moment.
How much will it cost, in which countries will it be available and what will it involve? We answer all these questions below and keep you up to date with the latest information.

In which countries will the ad-supported Disney+ subscription be available?
At this time, the only specific country in which Disney+ Subscription with Advertising has been confirmed for launch is United States. However, Disney said it will release in the world in 2023.
How much will the Disney+ subscription with advertising cost?
It has not been confirmed how much the ad-supported subscription will cost. However, we can guess what we think Disney will charge. Hulu is another Disney-owned streaming service, and it also offers ad-free and ad-free subscriptions for both male and female subscribers.
The basic level costs $6.99 per month (or $69.99 per year), while the ad-free tier costs $12.99 per month (or $129.99 per year). This equates to about a $6 difference between the plans. another rival of diffusion, HBO Max offers a $5 difference between its equivalent subscriptions.
Currently, Disney+ costs 7.99 per month (or 79.99 per year). Therefore, you may be able to subscribe to Disney+ for less than $5 a month.
However, that’s only if Disney+ doesn’t raise prices sooner, something Disney CEO Bob Chapek hinted at.
If not, it will be a big win for Netflix, which is currently experiencing a huge drop in subscriber numbers after raising its prices earlier this year. Netflix is another of the streaming platforms that introduced an advertising layer this year.
How will the announcements on Disney+ be?
Disney has confirmed that its goal is to offer an average of four minutes of advertising per houran amount much lower than that of traditional television, as well as that of other platforms of diffusion rivals like Peacock and HBO Max.
The platform will not run ads related to politics or alcohol, nor will it accept advertising from other rival studios.
Profiles created for preschoolers will not contain any advertising and programs designed for this audience will be reviewed accordingly.
Some platforms with ad support tiers also have more limited content libraries and limit content to a specific quality (like HD). Disney hasn’t confirmed it will, but it’s a possibility.
