Just in time for today’s early access start of F1 22, which is normally released on July 1st, NVIDIA is releasing the new game-ready driver for the GeForce graphics cards and it really gets the game moving again.
Racing fans have been waiting for the release of F1 22 and NVIDIA seems to have been well aware of that. The appropriate game-ready driver with version number 516.59 is now available and can be downloaded and installed from the NVIDIA website or via GeForce Experience.
F1 22’s graphical features include a variety of ray-traced effects including opaque reflections, transparent reflections, ambient occlusion, and shadows to enhance game immersion. Thanks to ray-traced lighting, players can admire detailed Formula 1 racing cars with realistic reflections as they speed around the tracks. NVIDIA DLSS performance provides GeForce RTX gamers with the tools to experience the immersive ray-traced effects of F1 22 without any loss in image quality. With performance more than doubling when DLSS is enabled, gamers with GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPUs and higher can achieve framerates in excess of 60fps at 4K with maximum settings and any ray tracing effect enabled in F1 22.
The new driver also supports Loopmancer, which will be released on July 13th with DLSS and raytraced reflections. The driver also supports one-click optimal game settings via GeForce Experience for five games, including Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The driver also supports the new GeForce GTX 1630 GPU. Along with these improvements, some game franchises like Jurassic World, Resident Evil, and Warhammer join the list of games with RTX support.
