Subscribers to the Switch Online Expansion Pack can look forward to fresh game fodder just in time for the weekend. Four SEGA Genesis classics are now part of the game.
Nintendo has donated four classics to its online service Switch Online as new additions to the free-to-play titles – at least if you can access the higher-priced expansion pack. All titles come from the SEGA Genesis or Mega Drive and can also be seen in the trailer below.
The first title is Zero Wing, a side-scrolling space adventure in which you must stop Cats, the leader of a roving band of space pirates. Next up is Comix Zone, an action superhero side-scroller. The title is known for its unique style inspired by comic book artists.
On the other hand, due to the well-known series of games, Mega Man: The Wily Wars is a little more well-known, a collection of three Mega Man titles that have so far stayed away from Nintendo’s online service. So now there are also the first three Mega Man games on the switch and also The Wily Wars, in which you can fight an additional boss in the Wily Tower.
The four-pack is rounded off by Target Earth, which, like Zero Wing before it, also uses a sci-fi setting. Here, however, you fight Chron cyborgs that are attacking the earth.
