When Samsung announced the S10 Lite a few days after Unpacked where the S20s were introduced, many were surprised. But the technical specifications of S10 Lite have made it clear that they will not play in the same league.

When we first saw the first 2K and even 4K screens we believed that this technology would come sooner than all smartphones. Not so. Samsung has retained its QHD panels for the original Galaxy S and Note and has left FHD on the new S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite.
But screen quality does not depend solely on its solution. There are very relevant features that make this panel a great feature. For starters, we're looking at a screen with AMOLED technology, as expected from Samsung. This makes the colors stand out and the blacks are much deeper, thanks to the precision of this technology that allows you to clear individual pixels.
The panel is compatible with HDR10 +, something that is not always seen in the price range, and is compatible with the streaming of apps that support this standard. In addition, strange frames make it that even though we're using a 6.7-inch screen we don't feel that the terminal is too large.
At the bottom of the screen is two-dimensional. The first is a close-up sensor that looks like a green pixel near the camera, in the right place, but only lights in certain cases. In the bottom area we have a fingerprint sensor, which is better than the one we had on the Galaxy S10. At present it looks good and even though it doesn't work like that of Chinese manufacturers it is useful. As a recommendation, it is good to scan the thumb that will be most useful to open the end.
Details that reflect the quality of the panel are that the green tones of the OLED screens seen in the preview are present. It shows that it is not a mid-range screen.
High quality cameras with a lot of flexibility
Photography is one of the essentials of any mobile phone. The S10 Lite is an example of this.
Samsung did not want to cut much in this category and although there are some, we feel that in some cases this model exceeds even the standard S10. The three cameras of this model are the 48 Mpx angular sensor with OIS, the wide angle 123º of 12 Mpx and the macro sensor 5 Mpx.

The front camera The S10 Lite has a 32 Mpx sensor that provides excellent detail, fast focus and the possibility to change the frame depending on whether or not we take a group photo. You know, we don't have a dual camera.
But with low light we see that quality goes down and details are lost. Or in some shots, you have in the gallery, you can see what the image looks like with water columns. An aperture f / 2.2 is noted.
Where there is no complaint about the stability of the previous video, it's better than most phones we've tried.
The only thing I remember? The contact lens, the sensor I recognize is not used by many consumers but it excites me.
Battery is not a problem, but not surprisingly
Samsung started to get used to the fact that their phones would not leave us on the big day because they ran out of battery. Otherwise, they will not give us the autonomy of other manufacturers, either because of their connectivity or perhaps because of the manipulation of their screenshots.
To the first test We have been using our cell phone internally and externally, taking photos, making phone calls, checking benches and using social apps. We have access to 4 and a half screen time and 26 hours total freedom.

One UI 2 has options without lags or problems
In recent months I have been able to analyze several Samsung phones and some have found that their appearance was not as smooth as I expected. I didn't know if it was a matter of software or hardware but it seems to be a security because in the S10 Lite One UI 2, Samsung's layer, it's similar to silk.
There are many options we have, such as face unlock, Android 10 touch or customization, but it's missing for example Find, Google's news section here that is replaced by a series of top shelves Bixby, Samsung's assistant that is not, in any way, Alexa or Google. At least for now.
There is also a feature that I think Samsung should improve. On Android 10 mobile devices the manufacturer decided that pre-installed applications, such as Onedrive or Facebook, could not be uninstalled. We can only disable them and although that should be enough for the average user, a cell phone in this category should not raise those issues. And less about companies like Facebook.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a great option for Xiaomi and OnePlus
Although Samsung has certainly launched the S10 Lite with many competitors in mind, it seems clear that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 or OnePlus 7T are the best. And the realme X2 Pro.
The S10 Lite is a much more unique phone in the name of its manufacturer than it has in its eyes, but the Korean company has shown that it can make the top range without asking around 1000 euros.
