Gaming News The Lord of the Rings: This is how a game under Unreal Engine 5 could look like
The Lord of the Rings is one of modern culture’s most beloved and respected franchises, it’s no secret, and we’ve been treated to several video games already. But what would a modern title look like on Unreal Engine 5?

That was a few decades ago now The Lord of the Rings is fully integrated into the culture industry. First with the mythical books by JRR Tolkien, but also with the famous trilogy by Peter Jackson, which we no longer present. Since then, the franchise has had time to spread everywhere: in other feature films, but also again in literature or even in video games.
So we had adaptations of films as well as an MMO that is very well maintained to this day; other action RPGs by Monolith Productions – Guardians of Middle-earth, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War – or even the game dedicated to Gollum that was about to be released (but whose release date has just been pushed back). In short, there is already a lot to do.
And yet players keep dreaming of a new title even more modern, even more ambitious and even more realistic. And some of them aren’t waiting for Warner Bros to give a studio a huge budget: They are focused on developing their own design for a new video game.
A precious, larger than life
This is the case, for example, of Enfant Terrible, an independent developer specializing in a specific field: creating your own technical demos on Unreal Engine 5, the brand new engine from Epic Games that promises us mountains and wonders.
In the current casehe imagined what the world of Lord of the Rings might look like and set about dreaming up that presentation all by himself. To this end, he then collected the modeling works of many artists from the database dedicated to Unreal Engine 5. The video, available in 4K, can be viewed below.
Let’s take this opportunity to remind you that it has already offered other interpretations of video games under the same engine. like Starfield or Bloodborne Remake.
