Apple’s next big device is about to be released and we could see it in early 2023.
We have known for a long time that Apple is preparing a revolutionary new device, the most revolutionary since the arrival of the iPhone, which will use augmented reality and virtual reality technologies, a device that we all know as Apple Glass or Apple Glasses. And now one of the most knowledgeable has shared some very important information.
As revealed by Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the world’s top Apple analysts, these glasses could be presented as early as January 2023. Apple’s goal with this presentation is to show investors that all the work on augmented and virtual reality has paid off by showcasing an innovative user interface.

A high price and a more affordable second version
Apparently, the sales of this revolutionary device will not be equivalent to those of other Apple product lines. Kuo expects one and a half million in sales, which is a huge number considering he thinks the starting price will be between $2,000 and $2,500.
Apple’s goal with this first device, Kuo says, is to check the demand that this type of device may have in the market. If demand is high, the company could launch a second device a year or two later at a more affordable price.
Kuo also thinks he knows how the presentation event of this device will be, which will be divided into 3 clearly differentiated parts. This is likely a device-exclusive event.
The first point probably relates to show the design and offer details to us hardware specifications. The second we will present the ecosystem of software and applications and the ground will focus on something key “What are they used for?”showing different use cases.
In addition, we must not forget that the objective of Apple with this device is to evolve its real objective more quickly. Apple is working in parallel with this device and with other augmented reality glasses that could potentially replace a device like the iPhone or Apple Watch. Real everyday glasses that could come later.
