There are several reasons why you might want to delete your WhatsApp account. Maybe you found a better chat app and decided to permanently delete it or maybe create a checking account years ago and didn't use it. If you choose to remove it, doing so is much easier.

What happens when you delete your WhatsApp account
Before you press the red button, remember that Deleting an account is undeniable. That is, you will not be able to receive messages even if you have backup copies on your mobile phone or Google Drive.

If you want to delete a WhatsApp account but currently don't have a mobile phone with that account in hand, you can't delete it completely but yes temporarily disable email to [email protected] with the title "Stolen / Lost Phone: Please activate my account" in your message and full phone number, in international format.
This does not delete the account completely, but it eventually becomes inactive. If you do not renew your account within 30 days, it will be permanently deleted, thus becoming a specific, but possible, way to delete your account without having to use a mobile phone via WhatsApp.
