The previously leaked Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration with Fall Guys has now been confirmed and the game’s developer, Mediatonic, says that it is happening later this week. The event will be a celebration of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, which made its debut over 30 years ago. The Fall Guys collaboration includes a new Sonic-themed level and new Sonic character costumes. The costumes available on the Fall Guys in-game store will include those for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Super Sonic, and Dr. Robotnik. Plus you can also buy a Sonic Foot Tap emote, if that floats your boat. Fall Guys is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop and other platforms.
“The new level is called “Bean Hill Zone” and tasks the Fall Guys beans with collecting as many rings as possible to win special rewards. If players earn 200 points, they get a “Bean Hill Zone” nameplate. Earning 400 points yields 200 kudos, 600 points get a Bonus Rings Pattern outfit, 800 points gives 400 kudos, and 1,000 points gives you access to Sonic’s iconic sneakers.”
