Just a few days ago, the start of the first season of MultiVersus was postponed indefinitely, but that has already come to an end because the developers have announced a new date.
Actually, the first season of the currently enormously successful MultiVersus was supposed to take place on August 9th, but as is so often the case, nothing came of it. The start was postponed indefinitely without any reason being given. But not for long, because today, just a week later, there is a new start date.
According to an official statement on Twitter, Season 1 of MultiVersus is scheduled to start on August 15th and for the first time recommend a Battle Pass with which you can get in-game rewards. The planned new character, namely Morty from Rick and Morty, will not be available right at the start of the season, but will be added a little later, on August 23rd to be precise.

As the developers confirm, not all of the season’s content will be available right at the start anyway. In the course of the season, new game modes and additional content are to be integrated. Among other things, Morty’s buddy Rick will also come into play, and both a classic arcade mode and a ranked mode are to be integrated. The developers want to keep us informed about exact dates.
The new Battle Pass, which will start after the Preseason Battle Pass, is said to have a total of 50 ranks and as usual with such models, there is both a paid and a free option.
