evil west, one of the few games we’re counting on to play next month, has been delayed by two months. The game will now be released on November 22nd.
It’s been over two months since Evil Was’ September release date, so we’re hoping this is the last time it’s delayed, as late November/early December release dates tend to turn into the first quarter of the following year.
Publisher Focus Entertainment broke the news in a joint statement on Twitter with developer Flying Wild Hog. The statement explained that since the game will be available on five platforms spanning two console generations (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), it just needs more time to ensure the availability of all of these platforms. The experience is perfected.
“Making our games more polished is critical to providing our players with memories that are not only good but lasting. It’s something we’ve always stuck with [sic],” it reads.
“We know game lag can be frustrating, but it’s a necessary step to provide the best possible experience for everyone.”

That’s a two-month delay for Wicked West, which was previously set to release on September 20. We actually put this game on our list of games that can’t be delayed in 2022. Technically, that’s a delay, but of course we’re referring to a delay until 2023.
Nonetheless, the Wicked West will now share a busy November with Ragnarok, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Tide and Company of Heroes 3.
