Thanks to some leaks, the upcoming characters for Multiversus have been leaked. Including, among other things, Lottergeist Beetlejuice.
It looks like Multiversus is getting ready for the spooky season. On Twitter, the leaker AisuIMV shared some lines of dialogue that are already hidden in the game and indicate upcoming characters from the Warner Bros. fundus. It starts with the witch of the west from the classic film “The Wizard of Oz”. Her shrill voice in combination with phrases known from the film leaves no doubt that it is the green-skinned sorceress.

A similar tweet included voice-over lines for Michael Keaton’s character, Beetlejuice. However, this was removed by the Multiversus team, making the leak even more believable. Ahead of the distance, the dissolute spirit could be heard saying something like “I’m melting… MELTING! Oh wait, that’s your line,” which further alludes to the witch of the west.
Two more characters were leaked yesterday and have now been confirmed for Season 1: Stripe, the nasty Gremlin from the film of the same name, and Black Adam, who will soon be in cinemas with Dwayne Johnson. With that, the roster of the free-two-play Super Smash Bros. clone will swell in the coming months.
You can see at first glance that MultiVersus has taken Super Smash Bros. as a model, you could almost call it a copy in a different guise. But that doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing.
