Warner kicked off the month of August by clipping the wings of the Batgirl movie, but Barbara Gordon will not be left without delivering street justice this year: Gotham Knights, the open world action video game from Warner Bros. Entertainment, it’s officially over and it will arrive on the eve of Halloween.
Great news given the huge dance of dates that has shaken everything related to Warner and DC Comics in recent months and that led, in terms of video games, to the postponement to 2023 of two of the key games of its increasingly powerful video game division: Hogwarts Legacy and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
The announcement comes from the hands of the WB Games Montréal, the developer of the game, through their Twitter account, anticipating that they are especially proud of the result. Something very hopeful, taking into account the challenge of offering a bat-family game without Batman.

What happened to Batman? In essence, Gotham Knights is the video game adaptation of the Court of Owls comic book series. A great series, by the way. In it, DC’s Dark Knight was assassinated at the hands of a secret society that has ruled Gotham City in the shadows since its very founding. With the bat removed, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin
Ahead, a new original story that takes place in a Gotham plunged into chaos. The appearance of many of the most emblematic villains of DC comics and an open world action experience designed to be played both in multiplayer, on our own and solo. And be careful, Warner has advanced that in Gotham Knights there will not be no in-app purchases or microtransactions.
In the absence of it hitting the shelves, and assuming the arrival of the traditional launch day patch, Gotham Knights will be out on October 25, 2022 on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S and on PC.
