In a direct announcement from 505 Games global community director Antonela Pounder, it was revealed that Death Stranding will be coming to PC Game Pass August 23, 2022.
You may recall that a few days ago, PC Game Pass shared a small teaser for the game they were adding on Twitter. Immediately, many suspected that the game might be Death Stranding. Now, we know they are absolutely right.
Death Stranding takes place in apocalyptic America. When an event known as “Death Stranding” shook Earth’s core, a bunch of stranded things — strange, unseen monsters — began to appear. These BTs have wreaked havoc so much that the rest of humanity is in imminent danger, and it’s up to Sam Porter Bridges to travel back and forth in order to save everyone from extinction.
Created by Hideo Kojima and starring Norman Reedus, Mads Mickelson, Lindsay Wagner and Leah Seydoux, Death Stranding marks Hideo Kojima’s entry into a new genre journey. This is the “Strand” type he coined. Single-player games with active social elements permeate everyone’s game and can have a significant impact on all players.
Death Stranding gave us a 3/5 when it first released on PC in 2020. We’ve noticed that the game definitely contains a lot of walking and requires a lot of patience, but there are also glorious moments of hard work that pay off and make it all seem worth it.
For players jumping into the action-adventure game on PC Game Pass, you’ll learn about features like Ultra Wide Mode, Photo Mode, High Frame Rate, and apparently, “crossover content from some very well-known franchises.”
Players can also unlock Chiral Gold/Total Reflector “Ludens Mask” Sunglasses (color variant), Gold and Silver Power Skeleton, Gold and Silver All Terrain Skeleton, Gold and Silver Armor when playing Death Stranding with PC Game Pass plate.
So for those jumping into open world titles, August 23 Aside from the game itself, there’s a lot to look forward to. Will you try Death Stranding next week on PC Game Pass?
