Terrible Toybox, Devolver Digital and Lucasfilm Games Announce Return to Monkey Island It will be released on PC and Nintendo Switch in September.
It was revealed during today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event that would-be pir ates can now pre-order the game to get a “highly exclusive and completely useless vest” to use at launch.
In the game, leather jacket salesman, extraordinary pirate and fearless hero Guybrush Threepwood embarks on a new adventure across the Caribbean.
He is determined to uncover an elusive secret, and will meet old friends and foes along the way. But while Guybrush and the villainous LeChuck seem intent on clashing again, the game finds a new group of pirate leaders arriving on the scene.
Written by Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, the game features a brand new soundtrack from the original composer, with Dominic Amato returning as Guybrush Threepwood, leading an all-star voice cast.
You can add your own misfortune, romance, and lactose intolerance on September 19.
