Nilotpala Lotus is a plant you can find floating on top of the beautiful rivers and lakes of Sumeru that you will need to climb certain characters in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact 3.0 introduced both the Dendro element and the bow-wielding five-star character Tighnari. One of her ascension materials is Lotus Nilotpala, so if you want to increase her power, you will need these flowers.
To make sure you can max out this powerful character as fast as possible, this guide covers everything you need to know about how you can use Nilotpala Lotus and where you can find Nilotpala Lotus.

What is Nilotpala Lotus for in Genshin Impact?
Nilotpala Lotus is a type of flower that is found above water all around the Sumeru region, including underground. It is a beautiful flower that sits among four water lilies and often grows in small, spaced clusters.
All you have to do to collect these flowers is go up and interact with the Lotus Nilotpala and, voila, it’s all up to you. It’s also good work, because with a lot of them in the water, you’ll have to watch your stamina to avoid drowning while swimming.
As it stands, the only use of Nilotpala Lotus is to ride Tighnari, but considering he’s Dendro’s first five-star character other than the main character, it’s worth swimming a few lengths for the obtain.
The release of Genshin Impact 3.0 is here! You will need to be the correct Adventure Rank to participate in events for rewards like a free Collei character. As for the Nation of Wisdom itself, you will need to know how to get to Sumeru and how to unlock Sumeru quests and reputation rewards. You can currently spend Primogems on 5-star Tighnari and Zhongli and 4-star Collei, and as always, you can visit our Genshin Impact tier list to see how your characters stack up, see how the Pity and 50/50 system works when Wishing with Fate, and see who you can pull from the next and current banners. If you want to relax, why not try fishing at one of the many fishing spots? Don’t forget to check regularly for all the latest Genshin Impact codes and trophy list updates.
Where to find Nilotpala Lotus in Genshin Impact
Finding the Nilotpala Lotus in Genshin Impact will have you traveling through the Sumeru region.
The first place in your farming journey should be north of Sumeru city.
If you have already unlocked the teleport waypoint at the top of Chatrakam Cave, then warp there. From there, you can find three Nilotpala lotuses to the northwest around a small island, five to the northeast around the Alcazarzaray Palace, and a huge cluster of them just north of Sumeru City.
After that, go back to Sumeru City and go down the river to your southeast to find three more Lotus Nilotpala to pick up.
Next comes the area south of the village of Vimara, which is just south of the city of Sumeru. Swim south and you’ll find two Nilotpala lotuses after a small ridge, then a cluster of eight south of it.
From there, go to to the east in the Devantaka mountain, where you will find seven more flowers to pick in small bouquets at the bottom of the swampy area.
Next is a group of two east of Sumeru City, just below the area that is still unrevealed once you activate all statues of all seven.
The final bouquet of Nilotpala Lotus is in the southwest of the area near the Ruins of Dahri.
It’s weird, because you’ll actually have to go underground to find them. Head to the exclamation point on the map below and you’ll find a tunnel going down. Follow it to find a small underground area where you can collect four more Nilotpala lotuses for your trouble.
Good luck hunting every Lotus Nilotpala!
