Grendizer is finally coming back to the small screen. A new anime has just been announced by Go Nagai, its creator. Here’s what we know so far.
Goldorak is one of those heroes that rocked the childhood and adolescence of many gamers. While they may be getting their hands on a new Microïds game soon, the creator of the series has just announced some excellent news.
Grendizer back in 2023
Notice to the Grendizer generation, the giant robot from Euphor will be back with a new anime. Led by Go Nagai, mangaka and creator of the cult license, it is currently known as Project G. No details are currently known about this return of UFO Robo Grendizer, except that it is not expected before 2023. The video that accompanies this announcement also indicates that we will have to wait until next year for more information. Still, this simple revelation should be enough to get fans excited.
For the most impatient, Dynamic Heroes arrives in France on September 9th. This crossing brings together characters from the mangaka including Grendizer, Mazinger Z, Devilman, Great Mazinger, Getter Robot and Cherry Miel. Originally published in a monthly kodansha from June 2004 to July 2007, the manga had never caught on with us. The chance for fans to find all of these iconic characters that have shaped global pop culture. On the video game side, a title of the same name is currently in development at French studio Endroad. The game, slated for 2023 for consoles and PC, is also still very mysterious.
